quadETH firmware changelog#
Every quadETH firmware release we have published, newest first. To update a node, open the firmware updater in Chrome or Edge and follow the steps — or use the direct link under any version below.

v0.8.0 — 18 July 2026#
USB firmware update over the cable; four-port DMX-over-Ethernet controller. Connect the USB cable to a quadETH that is already powered on and running firmware v0.8.0 or newer and the node updates itself from the package sent over the cable, then reboots into the new firmware. Unlike the ESP8266 products, quadETH is not flashed through its bootloader - its own firmware receives the update - so the node must already be running v0.8.0+ (the version that added USB update); a node on older firmware must be updated another way first.
